Responsible Gaming Policy

Last Updated: January 15, 2025

At Zivantal Casino Hotel, we are committed to promoting responsible gaming practices. We believe that gambling should be an enjoyable form of entertainment, not a way to solve financial problems or a source of personal distress. Our responsible gaming program aims to provide information, tools, and resources to help our guests make informed decisions about their gambling activities.

We work diligently to maintain a responsible gaming environment and to assist those who may develop gambling-related problems. Our staff receives specialized training to identify and assist guests who may be experiencing difficulties.

1. Responsible Gaming Guidelines

We encourage all our guests to follow these guidelines for a positive gaming experience:

  • View gambling as entertainment, not as a way to make money or solve financial problems.
  • Set a budget before you start playing and stick to it.
  • Set time limits for your gambling activities.
  • Take regular breaks during gambling sessions.
  • Balance gambling with other recreational activities.
  • Avoid gambling when under the influence of alcohol or when feeling depressed or upset.
  • Never borrow money to gamble.
  • Understand that the odds favor the house, and losing is part of the experience.

2. Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

The following signs may indicate that gambling has become problematic:

  • Spending more time or money on gambling than intended.
  • Feeling irritable or restless when trying to stop or cut down on gambling.
  • Gambling to escape problems or relieve feelings of helplessness, guilt, anxiety, or depression.
  • Lying to family members or others to hide the extent of gambling.
  • Jeopardizing or losing significant relationships, job opportunities, or educational pursuits because of gambling.
  • Relying on others to provide money to relieve desperate financial situations caused by gambling.
  • Preoccupation with gambling and planning the next opportunity to gamble.
  • Needing to gamble with increasing amounts of money to achieve the desired excitement.

3. Self-Exclusion Program

Zivantal Casino Hotel offers a self-exclusion program for guests who wish to restrict their access to our gaming facilities. Through this program, you can voluntarily exclude yourself from our casino for a specified period or permanently.

How to Self-Exclude:

  1. Speak with a member of our Responsible Gaming Team at the casino's Responsible Gaming Center.
  2. Complete and sign the self-exclusion form, which will require personal identification information.
  3. Choose your exclusion period (6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or lifetime).
  4. Provide a photograph for identification purposes.

Once enrolled in the self-exclusion program, you will not be permitted to enter our casino floor or participate in any gaming activities for the duration of your exclusion period. Additionally, you will be removed from all marketing databases and will not receive promotional materials.

4. Limits and Controls

We offer various tools and options to help you control your gambling activities:

  • Deposit Limits: Set daily, weekly, or monthly limits on how much you can deposit into your casino account.
  • Session Time Reminders: Set notifications to alert you when you've been playing for a certain period.
  • Win/Loss Statements: Request detailed reports of your gaming activity to help you track your spending.
  • Credit Restrictions: Voluntarily restrict your access to credit facilities within our casino.

To set up any of these limits or controls, please visit our Responsible Gaming Center or speak with a casino host.
